Rescued4life is a small non profit making rescue run from our Tyne and Wear home on the border with beautiful Northumberland and surrounded by open countryside.

It was founded by Neil and myself (Jane) in 2000 after we noticed that there was a need for spaces for rescued small animals.

Run by us from our home we endeavour to help as many animals as we can with the support of many others around the country who offer donations, items of food and bedding and a safe haven for unwanted animals, we will endeavour to help any animal that is in need & operate a no kill policy. Every animal deserves a second chance, we are here to give them just that.

We work mainly with ferrets both as working and pet but have helped a host of other animals along the way including cats, parrots and exotics to name but a few, our priority is providing a safe bed for those small animals who are at risk of being dumped or have been found wandering, often owners are just unable to look after them anymore or have had a change in circumstances. Where ever possible we will step in and give them another chance of happiness.

We constantly require loving homes for the animals within our care, if you feel you can offer any of the animals up for adoption please email or call us.
